The work Nat is doing is incredible. It sounds cliche, but you changed my life.

For over two decades, I built my career in high-pressure, high-stakes spaces - producing and leading major global events, founding and directing my own event production company for ten years, teaching and mentoring across performing arts and secondary education, running two performing arts academies, and spending 15+ years as a professional performer and MC on stages across New Zealand and beyond.
I was the woman who could hold it together under any pressure. Zero margin for error and the capability to match. I wore that like a badge of honour.
I measured my worth by being available, by going above and beyond, by being the one everyone could count on - and through my achievements. Another project, another accolade, another proof point that I was enough. For a long time, pushing through worked - and what I would come to find was that the very things I was being praised for were the very things that would eventually lead me to burnout.
As the roles grew more demanding, my boundaries eroded so gradually I didn't notice until they were gone. I worked my basic needs - eating, sleeping, resting - around my schedule, not the other way around, and by the time I got home I had nothing left - not for the people who needed me most, or for myself. The more I ignored what my body was trying to tell me, the less capacity I had to handle the very demands I was pushing myself to meet.
I ignored every signal my nervous system was sending me - the bone-deep exhaustion, the shoulders that never fully dropped, the spiralling thoughts at 1am when sleep wouldn't come. I was "too busy" to stop and "didn't have time" to address it - despite the cost not just to my health, but to the very things that made me successful in the first place.
Then came the career-defining project. I threw every ounce of myself into it - working up to 80-hour weeks for months, convinced that this would be the achievement that finally made me feel like I was enough.
I wasn't different. I was just next.
I only realised how far I'd pushed myself when my nervous system - after trying so many times to warn me where I was headed - used its last resort and made my body give up entirely. Two days before my 37th birthday, I finally admitted to my husband that I couldn't keep going anymore. The day of my birthday, I was diagnosed with chronic burnout. It took eight months of my life - my career, my income, my independence, my health and my sense of self. But, burnout forced me to do the one thing I had refused to do: stop, and be brutally honest about what had driven me to that point.
I had two choices: stay broken, or rebuild. I chose the work.
Life feels easeful now in a way I hadn't felt for as long as I can remember. I don't second-guess my decisions or get derailed by other people's opinions. There's an inner clarity I'd thought I'd lost - I feel confident about who I am, what I need, and what's actually true versus the stories I used to tell myself.
I work my life around my needs, not the other way around. I rest without guilt. I hold boundaries without explanation. I actually feel enough, without the accolades or the external validation to prove it. One of the most unexpected (but wonderful) results to come out of this? Because I chose to prioritise my own wellbeing and work on myself, my loved ones benefited too - and its effects have made positive waves across every area of my life.
What I also came to realise through this process was this: the patterns that drove me to burnout didn't start at work. They started long before - in the wiring, the conditioning, the blueprint that said capable, reliable, available was how women earned their place. Work just gave those patterns their biggest stage yet. I needed to work with my nervous system, not against it - not to think my way out of burnout, but to feel my way through it.
When I came out the other side, I couldn't unsee what I now understood. I retrained, pivoted my entire career, and built this practice from scratch - because I knew there were women out there heading down a similar path, and I wanted them to have the support I wish I'd had when I was in the thick of it.
Your experience is your own - but if anything in my story, or on my website, has struck a chord, you're in the right place.
You haven't arrived here because you haven't tried. You have, many times over.
But if you've found yourself coming back to the same place - knowing what you want to change, making a bit of progress, then somehow finding yourself right back where you started - there's a very valid reason for that (and no, it's not you.)
The nervous system piece - the part that holds the pattern in the body, not just the mind. The jaw that's already clenched before the day has even begun. The weight in your chest as you lie in bed at 1am with mental chatter.
Your body has been trying to tell you something. With awareness, understanding and support, your body's signals gets easier to hear.
Reconnecting your top-down logic with your bottom-up body signals - that's where the real change starts. So you can make decisions from clarity rather than fear, be genuinely present for the people you love, trust your own instincts and reconnect with the version of yourself that exists beyond the roles and the responsibilities.
Boundaries & Balance is a 7-week, online group coaching programme for women who are ready to reset, recharge and re-align with the woman behind the roles and responsibilities. You'll build the awareness, tools and practice to set boundaries that hold, alongside women who genuinely get it.
Clarity replaces the mental chatter that used to follow you into every room
You leave work at work - without it seeping into your private time
You learn to say no, without the guilt spiral that follows
The good stuff stops passing you by - because you've got the capacity to receive it
"6 months on, I'm still succeeding - setting strong boundaries and seeing a real difference in my life and mindset."

For over two decades I worked in high-pressure spaces - producing global events including the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023, directing my own production company, founding two performing arts academies, and spending 20+ years as a professional performer and MC. I was the woman who could hold it together under any pressure.
Until my body decided otherwise.
Burnout forced me to stop and face everything I'd been ignoring. I had a choice: keep overriding, or do the work. I chose the work.
In doing so, I started to see it everywhere. Women around me - capable, driven, accomplished - were barrelling down the same highway I had been. The further they pushed, the more the tires wore thin, until eventually - something had to give.
So I retrained. Now, I help them - because I know what it costs, and I know it doesn't have to.
I support women from a foundation of inclusion, affirmation, and care.
My practice is LGBTQI+ friendly, neuroaffirming, and trauma-informed - which means you are welcome exactly as you are.
Every space I hold is grounded in collaboration, consent, and nervous system safety. By working with the nervous system - combining somatic practice and neuroscience - I help you rebuild the internal capacity to regulate, to trust yourself, and to make choices that reflect your actual needs rather than external pressure.
You lead the pace; I guide the process.

When I started coaching with Nat, I was completely burnt out and stuck in patterns of people-pleasing that left me exhausted and disconnected from myself. Now, I’ve developed routines, started prioritising my wellbeing, and built the resilience to do things that once felt impossible. The biggest shift has been my mindset – I can try new things, face hard moments, and show up for my life with more confidence and self-trust.
